CC Period Transition
The current Continuing Competence (CC) period is July 1, 2008 to June 30, 2010. You are required to obtain 48 credits during this two year period. On July 1, 2010 the CC period becomes a one year period that will end each year on June 30. You will then be required to obtain 24 credits each year.
Member Responsibilities
- Confirm Seminar Approval Status - ensure that all programs, seminars and courses, for which they plan to submit certificates of completion or attendance for CC credit, have been approved by the ACAC.
- Provide Proof of Attendance - ensure certificates of completion or attendance verifications are submitted to and received by the ACAC office regardless of whether a seminar provider states that seminar attendance will be submitted directly to the ACAC.
- Submit credits before June 30, 2010. When submitting certificates of completion or attendance, members must allow ten (10) working days for processing to ensure that the credits are applied to their Continuing Competence summary by June 30, 2010.
Acquisition of CC credits for Repeat Attendance
No program, seminar or course certificates of completion or attendance will be accepted for CC credit more than once per 12 month period.
Please refer to the Seminar Providers page on the public side of this website for details on how seminars are approved for credit.
