It is the applicant's obligation to be fully familiar with the entire licensing process.
To register as a chiropractor with the Alberta College and Association of Chiropractors (ACAC), you must meet the following requirements:
1. You must be a graduate of an accredited chiropractic college and
2. You must have successfully completed the CCEB clinical competency exam. (CCEB exam results are valid for one year from the date the certificate is issued, unless applicants can prove licensure in another regulated, ACAC-recognized jurisdiction.)
The application process will take at least six weeks. Candidates are strongly advised to refrain from entering contractual arrangements for practice until they have satisfied all requirements for licensure, including obtaining the required malpractice insurance and subsequent ACAC practice permit.
