Mission Statement

The Alberta College and Association of Chiropractors is dedicated to regulating the chiropractic profession in a manner that supports quality care and upholds public trust; as well as furthering awareness and understanding of the benefits of chiropractic care among Albertans.

 

Position Statements

Chiropractic Patients' Charter of Rights

There are differences in the way chiropractors treat, but there are standards that are the same for all chiropractic patients. Read the Chiropractic Patients’ Charter of Rights to understand guaranteed elements of care including: access to services, respect during treatment, privacy parameters, and safety and options for care.

Chiropractors are regulated under the same legislation as other health professions including medical doctors, dentists and optometrists.

 

The ACAC is entrusted with enforcing the requirements set by government for all chiropractors.
