To practice acupuncture in Alberta, you must complete an accredited acupuncture program approved by the ACAC that includes a minimum of 200 hours of formal training and an official competency examination.
Submission of your certificate of completion and proof of professional liability insurance for acupuncture to the ACAC Registrar is required before approval to practice acupuncture is granted.
