Low Back on Track
Chiropractic Pilot Program
Publicly Funded Chiropractic Care for Albertans with Low Back Pain
Eligible Albertans with low back pain can now access publicly funded chiropractic care through the Calgary Foothills and Red Deer Primary Care Networks.
About the program
The Low Back on Track pilot offers funded chiropractic care to eligible adults in NW Calgary and Red Deer dealing with persistent or recurring low back pain. Running from November 2025 to April 2026, the program provides up to eight visits over 90 days at no cost.
Chiropractors use a drug-free, evidence-based approach to reduce pain, improve mobility, and support long-term recovery. Participants may also be invited to complete optional questionnaires to help evaluate the program’s impact.
