Cecilia Bloxom, MA, CHE, C. Dir
Chief Executive Officer
Cecilia Bloxom is a C-Suite Executive with 20 years’ experience cultivating a broad network of relationships with a wide range of healthcare organizations, government agencies, and senior executives.
Cecilia is a Certified Health Executive (CHE) and a member of the Canadian College of Health Leaders. As an award-winning communicator Cecilia is also a member of the Canadian Public Relations Society (CPRS) College of Fellows and is accredited in communications by both the CPRS and the International Association of Business Communicators. Before taking on the role as CEO, of the Chiropractic Association of Alberta, for over a decade, Cecilia was a member of the Executive Team for the Canadian Patient Safety Institute (CPSI), leading the merger of two national healthcare organizations.
With a Master of Arts in Leadership, a degree in communications, majoring in public relations, and a Corporate Director Certificate, Cecilia is a passionate leader with a strong desire for complexity, relationships, and purpose.
In addition to her professional accomplishments, Cecilia cherishes being a mother to her daughter and son and lives in the heart of the city with her husband and standard poodle. Cecilia loves all things active including skiing, yoga or golf and can often be found cooking a fabulous meal, reading the New York Times or walking in the river valley.

Kamalpreet Minhas
Project Manager
Kamalpreet is a keen, interpersonal leader with a background in Health Promotion from Western University and has recently completed her Master of Science in Bioethics from Columbia University. Kamalpreet comes from a process improvement project management space that has supported refining her creative and critical thinking skills. In her academic endeavours, Kamalpreet focused on the Electronic Health Record, health data exchange, and the ethical implications of these systems for patients.
In her free time, Kamalpreet enjoys skiing, spending time with her family, reading and exercising her calligraphy skills.

Alison Richards
Membership Experience Manager
Alison has a background in public relations with over five years experience working in the non-profit sector. In her previous role, she provided communications and programming support to a diverse membership network. Engaged in communications, Alison has received a Bachelor of Arts and a diploma in public relations. She has previously served on the board of IABC Edmonton.
Alison enjoys frequenting local restaurants, practicing yoga, and spending time with friends.

Eva Rivard
Communications Officer
Eva is a dynamic marketing professional with a Bachelor of Business Administration, specializing in Marketing. Her commitment to continuous learning ensures that she remains at the forefront of industry advancements, always seeking new ways to innovate and optimize marketing campaigns. With an outgoing personality and natural leadership skills, Eva thrives in a collaborative environment and is known for her ability to inspire and motivate her team.

Deidre Norris
Bookkeeper
Deidre has provided bookkeeping and administrative support to non-profits of various sizes for over 20 years. She loves the sector’s variety, people, and opportunities for continual learning. When not working, she enjoys playing with her dog, traveling around Alberta, reading, and cooking.
