Through advocacy, partnership, and leadership, we continue to elevate the role of chiropractic within Alberta’s evolving healthcare landscape.
In the first year of our three-year strategic plan, the Chiropractic Association of Alberta moved key strategic priorities from planning into practice. Chiropractors as Alberta’s Primary Contact in MSK Health
Chiropractors are leaders in musculoskeletal (MSK) health, providing safe, effective, and trusted care for spine, muscle, nerve and joint conditions. By strengthening integration within Alberta’s healthcare system and collaborating with interdisciplinary partners, chiropractors help improve patient outcomes, enhance access to care, and support a more efficient and sustainable health system.
Culture of Safety and Innovation Driving Evidence-Based Care
The Chiropractic Association of Alberta is committed to advancing integrated, evidence-based care and strengthening partnerships that improve outcomes for Albertans. By embedding safety, evidence, and sustainability into practice, promoting outcome-based care, fostering collaboration with other healthcare professionals, and leveraging academic partnerships and innovative initiatives, chiropractors will build public trust, influence health policy, and position chiropractors as essential contributors to a resilient healthcare system.

Member Opportunities
430 chiropractic clinics connected to Netcare to provide continuity of care
20 chiropractors across 15 clinics participated in the SelfBack pilot
18 members participating in the Low Back on Track pilot, in partnership with 2 Primary Care Networks
243 members accessed free St. John Ambulance CPR and first-aid training
246 members accessed the TELUS Health Member Assistance Program for counselling and mental health support
3,148 page views of the Member Portal (4.2 pages per user) since launching in December 2025
12 live accredited webinars hosted with an average of 48 attendees per webinar
33 on-demand courses available for continuing competency credits through the members-only learning platform
160 members attended the Commitment to Care Conference; 96% say they will attend again and recommend the conference to another member
93 members attended the first-ever virtual 2025 Annual General Meeting
3 member forums (two in-person and one virtual), with 68 members attending
