Championing Safe Care: Dr. Kelly Fleck

At the Commitment to Care Conference, we proudly presented the Patient Safety Award to Dr. Kelly Fleck, recognizing his leadership in advancing patient safety and quality improvement within chiropractic practice.

Under Dr. Fleck's leadership, Baseline Chiropractic and Wellness Centre became the first chiropractic clinic in Canada to participate in Healthcare Excellence Canada's Patient Safety Action Series. His vision challenged the team to think broadly about patient safety, addressing not only physical safety but also psychological, social, and economic aspects of care.

Through initiatives such as regular safety huddles, enhanced emergency preparedness, improved communication practices, and a culture of continuous learning, Dr. Fleck has helped create a clinic environment where safety and respect are embedded in every patient interaction.
